On Monday January 26, 2015, FOLT steering committee member Stuart Grant spoke on behalf of the Ludlam Trail at the Miami-Dade County Legislative Delegation. The 24 members of the Delegation include 6 Florida Senators and 18 Representatives who will advocate for Miami-Dade’s most critical 2015 issues in Tallahassee. Grant advocated for the need to direct funding and resources towards the acquisition and development of the trail and linear park. Grant highlighted the regional impact the trail would have on the Miami community, serving to stimulate economic development, restore natural lands, protect wildlife, reduce traffic congestion and improve quality of life.
Are you all receiving the emails from the Miller-Sunset homeowners association? They have been disseminating great information in regards to processes for procuring Amendment 1 funds.
I don’t see any mention of this on this site nor is there a ‘contact us’ link on this page where the information can be shared.
HI Ada – We have not been sent any info from the Miller-Sunset association, but we have been working with our legislators to make sure that Amendment 1 funds are allocated appropriately for the LT!
